How My Family Celebrates Easter

Our family does something probably different than what other people do. For Easter we have something called Easter week or holy week. Each day of that week is something different. On Friday we had the station of cross and on Saturday that was the day we celebrated when Jesus had risen from the dead. On Easter Sunday our church community comes together and celebrate EASTER! We give a lot of Easter eggs out and then PRAY! This is how our family celebrates EASTER!

  1. Hi Telesia,

I enjoyed your clear explanation of the way you celebrate Easter. It is always interesting to read as different families, cultures and churches celebrate in different ways. In England, we had similar celebrations to what you have described - often people will got to church on Sunday morning and then give each other eggs afterwards. In America, a lot of children believe in the Easter bunny, so they wake up on Easter Sunday to find that he has left them eggs. I wonder how Easter is celebrated in other countries!
