Poem - Tamai

Throughout the week we have been focusing on writing poems with a meaningful  hidden message. My poem is about one person that is my role model and someone I love the most. My Loving Tamai (Dad) Here is my poem!

Dad

A light that beams with joy
Through bad or good cases
The lighthouse which guides
When there is only darkness
In your light I forget my misery
For I can face them tomorrow
A light that I look up to
To seek guidance and wisdom
A light so peaceful and tranquil

That shines a path as a guide
A light that I follow after
For it is my sun that shines
A light as bright as the sun
A light as pure as its sins
The light of the sun which
We receive, give much joy

and ecstasy

Around the World Reading - Poetry

Around the World - Poem, Today Feels Dreadful

My Ratings : 9

Author : Taylor Loslein

Summary :

I think that the poem talks about how much the person's depression has taken over him/her. Its about how 'useless' this person think he/she is and how this person is sometimes forgotten.

My Thoughts :

Aside from how sad this poem is, I think that the metaphors that the author used as well as the words that they used really expanded the poem more. Meaning that the words really made the readers understand the poem more.
